I like the "Green", not the baby puke, just plain old green. It seems to be the easiest for these old eyes to read.

I like anything that has a good contrast with black so I can read it. Some of the other sites like Gila Monsters I can't even read without my 1.75 magnafying reading glasses.

I agree w/ Bill"  ??" I too have trouble reading w/o mag. glasses. BTW I can't get the smiley faces to work what am I doing wrong? DD |

Some of the smilies have different codes than vBulletin. Also, make sure the "disable smilies" box is not checked down below in the reply screen. It shouldn't be, but... Give it some time and let me know if it's still doing it. It may of just been a little brain fart in the system when you came on.  |

I think benchrest central forum's format is good....It's a white and black, or you can choose the color scheme (the background is bassically a LIGHT color). The most important thing is, it should be "color block/spacer" between one post and another (just bassically light color on the "block/spacer")...that will make easier to read, imo. Also seems more "official" to my eyes.
Dark background is harder to read, also make it seems "unofficial".
Smileys, it's still need to be "improved", imo.........I forgot where, but i have seen many good/nice smileys offered in the net. Maybe it's worth to try/use.
"Hunting Firearms Forums" character - should be big enough, and perhaps with a pic (just light) as background.
It's a pity i am no good in computer thing and AutoCad or 3D....

As I have been saying, we will improve the site.
The smilies may be able to be improved. I will check on that when I can.
I will see what I can do about an official picture. We do have to be careful not to infringe on copyrights. The size of our logo may be limited to what it is now by proboards.
Scott did manage to separate colors between posts (at least on the orange skin. I'll take a look at the others).
