Red, at the last fiish fry up at our church, after we had most of the fish fried we started to play around too. Twinkies, dipped in pancake batter and fried were a real winner! they been frying hotdogs for some time now, you never had a corn dog before? breaded and fried spam is good too.

Not that unusual, a few yrs ago I watched a "tribute to the Hot Dog" on public television. There are resturants and diners all over the country with diverse ways of preparing and serving hot dogs. And one in particular out east somewhere featured deep fried hot dogs.

We have a drive-in fast food joint here that has been serving them that way for well over 40 years. They are noted for their foot-longs, deep fried, with "sauce", not chili... ;D Not my favorite way to prepare a hot dog, but they are a hit in these parts.
