For those without a camper it is time to air out the tent and replace all the things in the kitchen equipment so it is ready to roll for the camping season coming aroung the corner.
I find that no matter how carefull I am the mantels on the lantrens get broken. Something get left behind or misplaced.
I do have a portable TV/DVD player that is about to become useless as the TV signal will be digital and I have yet to find a converter that has a 12 volt dc power adapter. Nothing like a bit of bank fishing with a cooler and couple of lawn chairs and the race of the TV. Sounds like the race will be on the radio this year.

we're going through all the scout tents in the trailer. looking to replace a few of them and add a couple extra as the tropp is growing. we have 2011 as our date to go to New Mexico for Philmount. i never got the chance to go as a kid so i am looking forward to doing it with my son. maybe by that time my fat ass will be in shape. ;D

I find that no matter how carefull I am the mantels on the lantrens get broken. A year or so ago I bet I went through a half dozen of those things in one night I couldn't get them to stay on. You can't touch them because they go "poof" I got mad and went to town. I ended up with a coleman LED 8 Dcell lantern. That thing's not very bright like the propane one, but it's good enough for what I need it for.
