If I ever get well I'm set to rebore and polish so Bounce may change his mind. I bought a ner surface grinder last year just so I could make my own reamers.

The Cabelas doublebarrels with screw-in chokes (yeah yeah...I know) interest me. I think they run about $600-700
I think it would be a great squirrel gun to play around with in the summer.
Turkey hunting would be ok if: 1. it's dry out 2. you're at a high success area.
I haven't killed a bird in probably 5 seasons so I'd have a hard time going to black powder.

Yes T/M's it would be fun geting a bird with the 24 ga. Also a zulu bird & then a long tom bird thers my 3 lol. Now that would be a good turkey hunt indeed for me.

Here us Nebraska guys are talkin' about using three different shotguns on three different birds ALL IN ONE SEASON...... We never even thought about NOT getting ONE bird let alone three..... I hope you don't think we're bragging about the number of birds we'll kill. Seriously our turkey numbers are at an all-time high.......So we have alot of birds around at this time....

If we even hear a gobble within 100 yards, we call it a good day !

Well I should say that seeing turkeys before and after season up close and personal and STUPID doesn't mean their easy to kill DURING season!!!!!! That depends on the hunter and the amount of time he puts into hunting them.

Yes definitely a very nice bird AND equally nice shotgun!!!! Kinda feels extra good to do it with an old original doesn't it ? Good to see you on here, keep posting and have a good time!!! Turkey season is just around the corner.. We're also talking about a Spring Turkey Hunt get-together here in Northeast Nebraska if you have time and want to make the trip give us a holler!!!

My gosh Doc, he's dead!
TThat's why I can't see a super choked ultra long range turkey gun. You call them in and shooot them close! For that a M/L is ideal. Now you need to give us the skinny on that nice double gun.
