just curious for you northern boys when do the Walleye start hitting the beds? from what i understand, and i have not tried to persue them yet, around here the walleye start moving into the spawning areas (rocky shoals near dams) pretty soon and through feb. i don't know of anyone here in the st. louis area that actualy tries to persue them this time of the year in missouri but one of these days when i have more free time i may have to try to educate myself on them a tad. i would imagine up further north if you want them you're ice fishing for them. all i know is i love fried walleye even better than crappie and that's saying a lot.

as long as there's no ice, there's quite a few boats out by the winfield and clarksville damn
I tell you what, I'm wanting to go to busch and hit the stocked trout lakes.
Everything I'm hearing is that you're doing something wrong if you don't catch 40
