Saturday marked the end of the fishing year for me. We fished on the Madison Chain (Madison WI) with a starting temp in the high 30's and a lot of fog. The day ended up warming to the mid 60's so it was a nice day to be out. While I had found fish on Friday, the story of my year came back again on Saturday. They moved and didn't like the same baits they did on Friday.
The boat is in the process of getting emptied out and all of the tackle and gear stored in the basement.
In the bass club I belong to I managed to squeak into 6th out of 25. I was 7th going into the last tournament and just managed to get into #6.
So with fishing done for another year it is time to maybe get in one more weekend of grouse hunting before gun deer hunting starts.

Sounds like a pretty good year for you Bullseye, I din't even get in my boat this year guess it did make grove lake once recintly with Matt & my two grandkids. This is why I am so happy with this boat, we are likely not to use it a lot do to time to do so, but it is a nice boat & works well so far and only have todays pocket change in the hole outfit. and gas is not an isue when it is used. this year all I had to licence was the trailer. The perfict boat for bounce, and it's hear if I do want or need it. and puting Matt in charge of it was the smartest move I have ever done I bet it was warshed and polished 5 times this summer though used once.
