Went snagging today for Spoonbill @ Gavins Point Dam on the Missouri River. While everyone around me seemed to catch at least one, I didn't. I got till Oct. 31st to get one so what the hay!! ;D ;D

Never ate one my self jack as no one that catches one ever shares, But one must think they are the best of all. I think they like diping it in hot butter. Like you do with lobster.

There are too many dams on the Des Moines River and they never get this far up into the states interior. I've never made that 150 mile trip downriver to try catching them. I would be interested in hearing more about the equipment used to catch them since they can get close to 100 lbs.
