getting stands up this week ,can't wait to start with the crossbow. the 3 pieces of land i'll be hunting all look good .so good i can't figure which to hunt first. they are all small area's but i've been seeing good bucks on them all. this could get interesting......cocked and ready!!!

I'd hunt the property that has the fewest oaks on it because as soon as those acorns fall that property won't be used as much

where i hunt there are scattered acorns ,it was so dry iin summer that we will not have many acorns in some places. i'm hunting around farms ,lots of soybeans and corn. plus deer are useing livestock feeders regularly. plenty of ponds and creeks on all the property. i just wish the chiggers would calm down a bit,they've been extra bad being it been so dry.

We already have double the annual rainfail here with 50 inches. So acorns are abundant. And so are the chiggers as I have 30 bites on me now
