If someone will show me how i will post a couple of picture of the speakers I am installing inside Lucas Oil stadium. (AKA the grease PIT) .
leave me a message and I will post a few.
These speakers are nearly 45 feet tall and weigh about 5300 pounds with flyware. They hang from the trusses at 245 and 290 feet above the crowd. Neadless to say the are EARSPLITINLOADENBOOMERS. 100,000 watts of power just for the stadium bowl.

klsm pics are going out now.
Jabba, right now i am working 7/12 hour days. today was the first 10 hour day I have worked in a month. I do get the fourth of july off to cut the grass. I think we are going to be off on sunday also.
I can get out for lunch anytime I want as I am a union Electrician and we never really do anything all day and they would never miss me. (Ha Ha I remember your Union Post from a couple of months ago). I will send you a private message with my cell phone number.

The first picture is from about Jan. 13 I was doing the fiber optics that open and close the roof. It is about 312 feet (range Finder does come in handy) to the floor of the stadium. Yes that is a semi truck on the top middle of the picture with a crane unloading steel. I was on the roof tied off to a tag line and had to walk a steel beam to get to the box that holds the equipment. Did i also not mention it was 30 degrees out with a stout north wind.
The second picture is a earsplitenloadenboomer. Each speaker is about 2 and a half feet tall and this cluster contains 11 speakers. Each speaker has its own amplifier for mid range and base and every two speakers share an amp for the high range freq's. This one with steel frame and such weigh's about 4000 pounds. We have 6 of these one the sidelines all angled to provide nice sound at over 103 DB to every seat in the stadium. A fighter jet at full thrust is about 110 DB and your normal fire alarm horn is about 70 to 80 DB.
The third picture is a real gem. We have two of these in the end zones. it is about 45 feet tall and about 5300 pounds. Same setup as above. These set in the steel at about 285 feet from the floor. Each speaker is angled to 3, 4 or 6 degrees with basically mirrors the stands in which you set in.
There are over over 600 speakers in the stadium bowl itself. In fact there are 6,453 individual speakers including paging speakers, Meeting and confrence room setup, and a few speakers that are twice as tall and wide as a car.
What the heck am I going to do with that??

Impressive to say the least!! I need to show a friend these pictures. He was recently telling me about standing on a ladder in the back of his pickup to set up the sound system at his brothers motocross track.

The thing I noticed a Nebraska was they were allways knowen for the nose level & electricity of the crowed But there speakers were so much louder than the peaple. And this your doing is probibly much more as thats the way it is each new sistem is biger than the last one.

No wonder every time I go to any kind of stadium, I leave with a headache and ringing ears.
