Ive been hunting for 40 plus years now and the one product Ive yet to find that would be a HUGE HELP is some kind of spray that would render fabrics water proof without changing thier color, texture, or significantly change thier feel, in cold weather. look, if you hunt long enought youve started out some days with all the equipment you thought you needed only to be drenched far from camp with a sudden rain storm, now experiance makes you carry a poncho or a plastic sheet for protection, but you inveriably find your getting wet anyway, so I would LOVE to find a product I could spray on jeans, and jackets that would allow them to shed water without changing thier appearance or texture,or make them noisy in cold weather, PLEASE HELP THE OLD GEEZER IF YOU KNOW ABOUT SOLVING THIS!

There is a spray waterproofer called Campdry, or Campdri, not sure of the spelling. Keep in mind that a spray waterproofer will, if it waterproofs, also keep your clothing from breathing. So, spraying it on your jeans might save you from getting wet in a morning shower, but by afternoon you might be just as wet from sweat because your jeans don't let your sweat escape. Dick's used to carry the stuff.

There's something like Snowseal (may even be the same brand). I've used that before and it would usually last for one rain

Never heard of it
Sounds like the material had to be treated with something in the first place in order for that stuff to work
