After they know my old rest personally, and/or after they read my post in BCR. Maybe i can have some profits (extra money) from this "project", later. But the most important thing is, i just a newbie etc for BR, but they (most of them are BR shooters) trust me to build them their front rests!. So, it's a pride for me... I accept the job, for some reasons and after many considerations before, btw. My new coaxial rest also more superior now. It's as good and as smooth as Farley rest. I find new mechanisms etc so that the rest can be used both like Farleys (move the joystick up to get up elevation, right for right, left for left etc), and/or like my old rests before (move the stick down to get up elevation, left for right, etc etc). So it's a double sides coax rest. Maybe the first in the world. Farleys cost at 750 $, for your info, while mine cost an half, for a complete set. Some folks ordered me just the coax part/mechanism though. (for 300$, without the base). Plus the shipping cost (about 165$ per unit to the States), they will pay for about 540 $ or so, for the total. Still cheap/ a fair price for them because it's a custom rest. My rests also more good looking. My Mentor(s) in the US also said that my rest can be used for centerfire benchrest, and rimfire or hunter benchrest, as well. I will show you how they look later.......seb.

That's great Sebastian. Glad to hear that your rests were so well accepted here in the US. Maybe this will lead to more opportunities for you as time goes on and you get to know more people from attending more events.

Thanks Scott. Meanwhile it's just about 6 peoples. I hope i can finish the job and send the rests before Christmas. Next time/later- it would be many, i guess... With more efforts (set the machinaries better, etc), i think i can make about 20 rests per month. My old rests used things from "scratches" before. My new rests now use the best materials i can find over here in Indonesia. I have already searched many things for that. I perhaps will send one to Mr. Kelbly for free (Kelbly's Range- The Home of The Super Shoot), so everyone in his range can try the rest. I hope that my rest will be as popular as Farleys, later.... "SEB'S"...(or Seb's Rest...or Seb's Doble Sides Coax, etc), that's the name. But will be "SEB'S" on the rests. Almost of my "dreams" usually works/done before......I hope so for this "project"!.
One guy (Michael Turner from "turnercustoms") asked me if he can be the dealer in the USA some days ago. Two folks (My Mentors) said don't "undervalue" for my front rest (they think should be more), i admire them/their opinions for sure, BUT my concern is how to make my rests as affordable/cheaper as possible to the Customer's hand. I really hope my rest can be bought under 500$ price range - To the Customer's hand. I'm in process to survey the shippings. Via surface/by ship seems a lot cheaper methode. It would take longer time, but i think i can send a given quantity per month to the dealer. With that methode i hope the price will be reduced lot.
Wish me luck on this project!. If i'm succes with the first product (this December), my rest will be as popular as Farleys later, and that means more extra money for me. I can shoot more frequently to the States!!!.
Seb.

Have you considered getting a "Patent" on your rest? If you do not obtain a US patent on it, anyone is free to take one of your rests and copy it. Just a thought.

Scott, i believe no one can make a rest like mine, with it's price range, with it's quality. I don't know how to patent a product, too. Why should i worry someone will copy my rest? All benchrest shooters will also not use "a copy product", imho. I know "how" they think, btw. One of my mentor also asked this before. And that's my answer (the first sentence above).

Also don't forget, my rest is a custom. Some folks asked me to make the base etc as to their reference. Some want wider base, with steel material etc.
