This is great - two pieces of toast run in a light cycle
- pizza sauce (could use ketchup and oregano...but you only live once)
- cheese
- put it under the broiler for about 60 seconds (but watch it close)
If you burn it, you're out about 20 cents, so just try it again This thread could also be named "3 minute pizza and microwaved hotdogs" Good meal or snack for kids or single guys

I always added pepperoni, and if I was feeling like a special treat, mushrooms.... For that extra special treat, like Sunday dinner, make it on English Muffins.... ;D ;D If you buy yourself a cheap toaster oven at Wally World, it saves firing up the broiler and you seldom burn you little pizzas... Another one I used to make, if I had Italian bread, was olive oil, a slice of tomato, a little basil and garlic powder, cheese. Mmmmm good. You can serve this one to company...

Man, you're eating high on the hog.
English muffins (bagels also work), olive oil, toaster oven.

Red, you come by the house this summer when the tomatoes are ripe and i'll grill up my portabella mushroom pizza. the portabella is the pizza crust, maranated and grilled then really ripe vine ripe tomatoes (beefsteak or similar) are sliced about 1/4" thick, maranated lightly and grilled, then layed on top of the grilled mushroom (it's the sauce part) add a couple pieces of cooked sausage and top with a thin piece of provel cheese, leave on the grill until melted. the large mushroom caps (about 4" dia) are what i use and take about 20-30 min grilling time, then do the tomatoes which only take a few minuets. and add all together and wait until the cheese melts.

I make another quick one, maybe in the snack category, but damn tasty, on a triscut. A really small pizza.... ;D This one was developed around a campfire, but a grill or other cooking method would work. You take slices of pepperoni and skewer 'em on a stick or hotdog fork. Cook it over a good bed o' coals till it starts to get a little charred around the edges. Meanwhile put a slice of good bity cheese on a triscut, I prefer Asiago. Top that with a slice of the hot pepperoni, then add some Gander hot peppers on top of that......oh my, you won't believe how good it is... Gander peppers are hot banna pepper rings canned in a sweet totamto sauce. My home canning recipe is nothing but vinegar, ketchup, and sugar. You can usually find some similar peppers at the grocery store, you gotta have that sweet tomato sauce on them.

Great snack to have when you're sitting around a campfire tossing back a few cold ones. Simple enough to make by firelight, even after a good session of beer drinking.... Not that you have to be half drunk for them to taste good.... ;D
