next time any of you are camping try bbq cabbage. take a head of cabbage and core it. now take a full stick of butter and cram it into the void left over from coring it. put a good heep of salt and pepper all over it and wrap it in two layers of foil (heavy duty foil) place it in a bed of coals and rotate it every 15 min. cook for one hour. when you open it up have it in a bowl because you will loose all the butter. the first layer of leaves will be black but you peel them away and the rest is steamed perfict. i cut it into wedge type pieces and it is realy good.

At the annual Kolach Days held in Verdigre NE each year (always the 1st part of June) I noticed the Catholic Church is serving Czech Soul Food among the entrees Koprova; Rolhlicky; Vdolky; and of course Sausage & Kraut ;D ;D
