Heck, why not go the whole way? Get some Sterno, strain it thru a loaf of bread, like hobos used to do...... (don't try that- it's poison) Bill, try a Bordeaux or a Chardonnay

A "Sauvignon Blanc" or "Chardonnay" would be what the pro's tell you to select with your menu. If I were choosing, I would probably go for a good dry Riesling...

2m's you surprise me!!!!!!!! I didn't know you were that "into" fine wines.......... Bill I'm sure you know that the 2003 European heat wave contributed to ultraripe and opulent reds w/ great aromas. The reason I say that is because you were always better @ choosing wines than me!!!! The Chateau Cos-d' Estournel "St Estephe 2003" would be my choice!!!!! HANDS DOWN!!!!! Let me know what you thought of it!!!!! DD

Bill; Little MAma "the wife" and I were talkin' over dinner- noon- to the rest of ya......... I told about my post and she popped me over the head and said I should tell you I'm sorry for embarassing you!!!!!!!! She said you all most likely can't get "fine" wines out there in the pan handle w/o a couple of months notice !!!!!!!! Sooooo to keep the peace I'll stay w/ my choice;;; but I understand why you couldn't take it. DD
