My dad was up to the Kenia River in Alaska this summer fishing for salmon and when he came back he dropped off 3 really big salmon fillets for me. Anyone got a really good salmon recipe on the grill for me?

I thought I saw some interesting spices/rubs in your store that would work. .......But I wonder about injecting w/ Tony Chachere's creole butter than a little original Creole seasoning on the outside and grill to a "medium" to "done" I think it would be melt in your mouth good!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every time I ate salmon it was really delicious the 1st 5or 6 bites, then not so much the next 3bites, then I felt stuffed and with a hole bunch left that no longer tasted good at all. And then it seemed I would allways get sick later??? So I have only eaten fresh salmon a few times. Out of the can & in patty form is still very filling but never got sick from it in a can. But I don't remeber any real spice or anything but I'm thinking just butter? it ben a few years sence I had the gut's to try it once more...smiles

Jeezzzzz Bounce. Maybe your alergic to it or something. I like salmon but yes it can get to be a bit on the much side once in a while. Never did get sick from it though. Last time I ate fresh grilled salmon we took and set it in foil and covered it in mayo and a stick of butter, salt and peper and wrapped it up and threw it on the grill for about 20 minutes or something like that. Dang that stuff was awsome. Its been a while back so I'm not sure if the times were completly right or not. Might have to try it just to see how it comes out.
