I have been looking at a new ATV but also have been trying to figure out how I'm going to haul it. Well I came up with a Idea that I think might work. ;D I have a pop up camper and thougth it might be nice to build a rack that went on top of the pop up but Naw axel is too light and probably won't handle it. Then I had a thought. ;D Wonders never cease. I'm going to have another frame welded underneath the frame thats there except I'm going to have the rear bumper cut off to do this and extent it past that by about 4' then weld on the bumper again. To this frame I'm going to attach the new axel with new tires about half again as big with heavier springs and just a bit further back than it is now. This will change the ballance a bit so I can haul the ATV behind the Pop up and have a ballanced load without too much tounge weight. That way the pop up can go and so can the ATV and they won't pull like a cement truck behind me.

I gotta a pickup box trailer that I use for hauling my canoe around. For the right price I would consider letting that go. It has a ball on its rear bumper. Say $500 for the trailer and $700 for the canoe or a used 86 or 85 Winchester might work.

Looks fuel efficient too.

I suppose that if you could afford a rig like that, fuel costs would most likely be insignificant... ...even at $3.00 a gallon.

sorry guys, I got three boats (if a canoe counts as a boat) I think they need to go down the road though as I haven't had any of them in the water in 2 years. That SUV Looks like it would be similar to driving a wall down the road when it comes to aerodynamics. The just don't exist but if it only goes 50MPH it don't make much differance if it don't have any. I could put a ball hitch on the pop up and just buy a cheap ATV trailer and pull it behind the pop up. Was just thinking that an extra axel means more tires and more tires means more rolling resistance and more rolling resistance means less gas millage.
