Well, I guess the wife got tired of seein' me drive that POS Dodge Caravan. The only reason I drove that was because she didn't like me driving my F-250. For some reason she felt that because it didn't any breaks,(other then the Emergency brake) that it was unsafe. Can you believe that. ;D Well anyway, we went up to the city to have us a look. Oh Christ, I ended up trading in the wifes Ford Taurus & she drove home in a new Buick Century, & I drove home in a nice Ford Explorer. So far it handles nice. I've had it out in the sand dunes at work with the 4 wheel drive engaged, & had no trouble. She never got stuck.

You will like the Buick. I have had the Century and the LaSaber both and both of them run over 160K before I got rid of them. I usually buy them at about 120k for a couple thousand and drive them for another 40K before I get rid of them for not all that much less than I pay for them. ;D Heck, even if you give them away you only loose about 2K in 4 years and thats cheap in my book. Only problem I had with either of them was the Transmission went out of the LaSaber 2k after I bought it. Cost me almost $1k to replace it but its worked fine ever since. Makes a heck of a good work car for the wife. Problem is she gets attached to them and I have a heck of a time getting her to buy something else. Both got about the same milage, 29 MPG.

Personally, I can't BELIEVE I bought my wife a Ford. At least you got RID of one too!! Jabba Jabba ~ This oughta make you happy. I got rid of 3 Fords this week. ;D 2 Ford Taurus & the F250. That leaves me with 2 fords The Bronco & Explorer. Bill ~ My wife always liked Buicks, so she's tickled to say the least. When I used to drive in the demolition derby at the County fair or when a few of us guys & one woman held our own demolition derby in either my back yard or someone else's, I tried to always find a Buick for this job. I've run the piss outta these cars after the radiator was destroyed & no oil in it as well. They are hard to kill.

Yep You'll like the Buicks I have had a 71 & 92 LeSabre and an 87 Century. Every one went over 200,000. Dad bought a 2003, cause he has always said any car that held up under me was a tough good ride.
