You may have heard of the hunt of a lifetime program for kids with illnesses. This kid looks like he is still a teenager. His first hunt. He shot the bull a couple miles from my house. The local paper had this story. The kid is from Michigan. Doesn't give a lot of details on gun and ammo etc.

How many kilograms was the bull?...let me guess...250-275kgs? (convert to pounds X 2.2... 550-605lbs)
Btw dakota, just a couple of miles from your house?

It is very close. I found a nice mule deer road kill very close to that location, edge of that property at most 4 miles, likely closer.

Oh Red, don't be so damn envious. Look around more closely. You've probably got them near your back door and don't even know it! I saw a picture of a friends cottage up north. Theres a moose standing on the ramp outside of his kitchen nose to nose with a kitty. Cutest thing I've ever seen. Even I couldn't have shot that one, just too precious for words. Best wishes.
