Very interesting thread ont he other forum - confused the hell out of me.
But from what I gather a gun is still a rifle so long as the barrel is over 16'' and the overall lenght of the entire thing is over 26''
Tell me xp - how long is the overall lenght of one of your xp's?

Sorry for the confusion. I think it is a confusing thread. Because it is about Govt. Regs. If you want to know a lot about specialty pistols-there is about the biggest wealth of info there @ SP that one can find on the web and most other places for that matter. I won't have time this week to measure and will be gone the first half of next week, but will get it measured for you when I get the time (and when I remember it ;D).

There is one of those in the Cabela's Gun Library at Sidney NE in .308 Win with a Grey/Black laminated thumbhole stock and a comp on the end of the barrel and a Leupold scope. I keep looking at it and thinking it would be fun to play with. More in the line of .223 for praire dogs though. There are also 3 Weatherby and a Witchata there also. Too many guns so little time.

I use bipods on all my woodchuck rifles, for summer jacks and porcupine as well. I use the old Bausch & Lomb bipods (no longer made). Once used to them I find my accuracy much better. Maybe I really like them because it gives me an excuse to stop and lay down for awhile. How's that for honesty? Best wishes.
