Last week I shot at a small buck with the bow. He was quartering towards and I aimed low where the neck met the shoulders thinking the arrow should rise at 15 yards. It hit right where I aimed - which was a little too low.
My brother just called and said he killed a 8point he's going to mount. He said it was the exact same shot I had at the same distance. He had the pin right where I had it, and then he thought about how my shot didn't rise. He aimed a little higher --- and it didn't rise. Good choice. He found it 200 yards later
