Nothing can ever go right for me I was changing the peep sight tubing a few minutes ago. I pulled the bow back, and the plastic piece on the cable gaurd that holds the cables snaped on one end. I've never heard of that before. You don't think it's because the peep sight tube was too tight do you? I wouldn't think that had anything to do with it. I think the peice was just ready to break. So I have less than two weeks to get that part, finish the last sighting in, and then go hunting on the 15th. At least it didn't snap off next month

I went to bass pro and got another one from eastman (I didn't even know anyone made them). It's slightly different so it pulls the cables a bit more resulting in the kisser button being way too high (and I can't pry off the crimps). To make matters even worse, when I was shooting the bow this afternoon my release broke. So now I have to go tue evening and get a release and get the kisser button adjusted, and perhaps the peep sight. I just hope the draw length stays the same. geesh

Me too, my game getter is a shotgun pistol made in the 1930's. I soon hope to regress to flint arrows and soon I expect to be hunting with just a rock.
