Looks awsome UT300RM. I used to go down to a buddys of mine and use his jig to fletch my arrows and you can make some combinations that are totally unique and your own. It also cuts the cost of arrows a bit too kind of like reloading your own. But allas I have given my bow to my brother and no longer have one. But ONE of these days I intend to replace it even if its just to shoot targets. I thought I would like to go back to shooting a longbow but the sholders just don't like it although cedar shaft arrows painted with my own pattern and fletched with feathers shot from a long bow is where my beginnings in archery come from.

I really enjoy shooting my bow. Its getting harder to find people to shoot with. A few years ago Utah changed to where you have to pick your weapon. You can only hunt one weapon per species. So if you hunt deer you have to pick your weapon, you cant hunt both say rifle and archery seasons. All of my family and friends rifle hunt. I am trying to really get into archery to hunt as well as maybe a hobby 3D shoots look like a blast. The traditional thing looks fun but I dont have the funds to support too many more hobbies Bill, This cabelas here in Utah has quite a few bows in the Bargain Cave you just need to quite buying guns ;D

If I made arrows that nice I'd dance a blitzenburg jig and and irish jig too. My freind in Verdigre fletches arrows and I made him a painting and striping lathe from a sewing machne motor. It is set to turn at 10 rpm.

I have had a few people tell me to buy a used sewing machine motor and build a lathe.
Right now I like the solid white crest and colored fletchings. But in the future I may give it a shot.
