Well dove season opens here in Nebraska on my birthday (Sept 1st). Usally Bounce and I sit on the Crick bank and ponder the goings on of the world. I will say there seems to be alot of birds around this year. Sooooo what do ya think Bounce; are you coming over? And which shotguns are we using?

Yeah, there seems to be a lot of birds this year. We've had a bad heatwave the last couple weeks and that seems to have sent the birds somewhere else. That's fine, I still don't have a place to hunt this year either

I've got my dove chair along with my decoys and guns all ready to go. Now if I can just get some time off.

LOL sounds like a hunt to me. Doing two miles a day 1 in the morning 1 at night for the last three months isn't hurting me at all. Whats hurting me is the lack of time off to hunt.

Now you're talking my language! Dove season opening that is. I've been seeing lots of birds but no real concentrations of them. Everything is so dry around here that I think the farmers will cut their corn relatively early.
I finally broke down and bought one of the Mojo decoys. I'm itching for a chance to try it out.
