Last night, Houston beat St Louis to win the National League pennant. The World Series will be The Chicago White Sox versus the Houston Astros. Houston has never been to the World Series before, and Chicago hasn't been to the Series since 1959. Both teams have very, very strong starting pitching. OK, so, what's your prediction?

I think it's two pretty evenly matched teams.
I think Houston is the better team though...not to say they will win, but they are the better team.

I'll be rooting for Houston, but certainly wouldn't want to bet on them, or Chicago for that matter. Should be some great baseball. I think that Chicago's pitching staff may be just a tad deeper.

Well, so far, Chicago has won both games with last second heroics. Houston had Roger Clemons pitching the first game, and Andy Pettit the second game, and lost both games. That may be a real bad omen..... Who has been watching the games?

I've been glued to the games, and got to see 2 really good games so far. I am not going to be overly disappointed, no matter who wins, but I hope the Astros can bounce back and make a series out of it. I'd hate to see it end in Houston. I'm like this every year though, with the play-offs and series lasting so long, I hate to see it all end....

Have to agree-both games have been tightly contested, with tons of quality play. Good games to watch.

Sorry guys, I just can't get excited about this one. I do like watching Andy Pettit, but other than that - nothing! Usually I like baseball, if it's someone I can get interested in, but Chicago and Hoiuston? Hope your favorite does well, whoever it happens to be. Best wishes.
