Oh I'm going talk smack; if for no other reason just to talk it because I like listening to myself type. The Rams have many advantages. #1. Martz is not going to coach. The new coach could draw plays out of a hat or flip or coin about going for it on 4th down --- and I'm sure the new guy will have more success than Martz on a good day. #2. Our Quarterback is kinda sorta looking decent this year. Perhaps he came out of the closet and quit looking at the cheerleaders when he was throwing the ball. #3. Our Runningbacks have been resting for the entire season. They're ready to go !!! #4. Rams Defence - hey it can't be any worse... #5. Onto Indy - the last undefeated team. Eh, they're bound to lose one of these times #6. It's being played at Indy. This is a Ram advantage because Ram fans don't know what they are doing. When you get 70,000 people who don't even know a thing about football and put them all together in blue and gold shirts...you get the idea. They don't have a clue other than to cheer when it looks like the Ram players are happy. #7. James and Manning? Prettyboys. If Bulger goes in the wrong lockerroom Sunday morning your quarterback and runningback won't run right for a week let alone Sunday. #8. messages.yahoo.com/bbs?action=topics&board=yahoo.93.11.4688406&type=rJust look at some of the titles "pathetic team", "worst team I ever seen", "Dungy is a loser", "Tom Brady caught in the act" (see #7) My prediction?? The Colts have averaged 21 points this year. The Rams have averaged 25. We will win by that score.

Yeah. That's good smack talk red. The Colts D has only let one team score 10 points, and that was exactly 10 points. They have given up only 2 TD's this year and they were both scored late in the game after it was decided. Essentially garbage points. I'd give the Colts a 75/25 advantage, but there is ALWAYS that "Any given Sunday" deal out there to smoke the boys in blue. Jabba

I think we'll probably end up losing by 14-21 points. We'll prob. get at least 40 scored against us and we might make it to 20 or 24.

OK... real smack time now.
I will go out on the limb and say that the Rams are not the team that is going to bust out on the Colt's defense. They might score more than 10, but I'll bet less than 20.
Final score... 24 to 10.

14 point spread. Hmm, very tempting but I'm not going to put money on it...
What the hell, I'll keep my prediction of Indy 21, Good guys 25. Indy scores 3 TDs. Rams scores 2TDs, 3 FGs, and a safety !!!

Well I was pretty close with my 40+ to 20ish
If we could of recovered the fumble that was called a tie (which I actually think we did recover) and if our running back wouldn't of fumbled that one time, I think it would of been real close.
The Colts offense is just unstoppable !!!

It was a great game to watch, I thought. St Louis actually ran the ball 23 times, for a bit over 100 yards gained- proof positive that Martz wasn't calling the plays. Have to agree about the Colts offense-they have the best QB in the game, IMO, and the offense has all the tools for him to utilize.

It was a little dicey there for a while. I had several telephone calls when the Colts were down 17-0 about how we [Colts] were gonna get a mud hole stomped in us. I told then then... relax there is a lot of football game left.
The Colts are tough... they doubled 88 and we threw to 83 and 87 and ran 32 a lot. Once they pulled the double coverage from 88... he immediately became productive.
One of the reasons I like Peyton is his class. They asked him after the game about what the most memorable part of throwing 86 TD's to Marvin, and his response was simply that having Marvin Harrison as a teammate was the best part of it all.
