Week 5 in the NFL ended with a good game Monday night- Pittsburgh vs San Diego. Pittsburgh won on a last second field goal, but maybe more notable is that the Steelers QB, Roethlisberger, was on crutches after the game. Green Bay woke up, pounding New Orleans. New Orleans lost their best running back, McAllister for the season to injury. Buffalo yanked their rookie QB, J P Losman, and beat Miami with their back up, Kelly Holcomb. Dallas beat the heck out of the Eagles- and former Buffalo QB Drew Bledsoe is playing better for Dallas than he ever did for Buffalo, while the Eagles QB, Donovan McNabb is getting a heck of a beating every week, and has several injuries. The NY Jets brought Vinny Testaverde back from retirement this week, and it worked, the Jets beat Tampa Bay (the Bucs were without their big running threat, Cadillac Williams). New England pulled out a last second win Sunday night, beating Atlanta on a last second field goal- a game in which Michael Vick did not play. Injuries are starting to have an effect, big time. Red, you'll like this one- St Louis coach Mike Martz is taking a leave of absence due to illness, and will turn over coaching duties to assistant coach Joe Vitt Indy is the last unbeaten team in the NFL. Comments? Questions? Complaints? Predictions?

Being from Indy we are riding a bubble now. Many people are on the SB train. I say it's WAY to early to get all that excited... but I am happy with the way the defense is starting to play with some pride for a change.
