Archery season for deer opens in a couple of weeks here in Nebraska. How about the rest of you is it getting close in your states?

For the most part, our archery season will be in around the end of Sept. However, just up the road here, & a couple other zones, it comes in on the 10th. In this zone it is mandatory that you pop a doe first before you bag a buck. Plus there isn't any limit on the does as far as I am aware. Atleast until the state wide season opens. I guess it is time to break out the floural sented Raid. This stuff really works well keepin' the ticks off of ya, & surprizingly DOES NOT spook or alert deer. It might make ya smell abit like one of those guys that work in one of those hair salons, but hey, better then diggin' off several dog ticks, or a couple thousand deer ticks. ;D

Mine ended tonight for Deer and Elk. A few select areas are extended for a little longer. I will wait until the rut starts then give it another try.
