How about the no brass shells are they less than low brass? ......smiles Far as I know brass in modern hunting means nothing back in the 50's and before it did but not anymore today you must read the lable. And THAT ladies and gentlemen... and you too Red, is my point. I know I am just being a dick about it... but that's who I am. A shithouse lawyer. I am still a good guy though. Jabba

You jogged my memory reminding me of the (I believe they were called) ACTIV shells from a few years back. They didn't have any brass showing. I believe though that there was metal of some kind under the thin plastic coating around the case head. I picked up a couple of boxes of empties after a dove shoot once and tried reloading them. They seemed to load okay but, as I recall, I had trouble with them cycling in my repeaters and trashed the rest of the hulls.
