Do you allso have two tang screws for a stevens Favorite? Would like to put my original on the new one and that the peep on the barrel off. Read home from the gun show if you want to know how it is shooting.

I was just afraid I would be late for the steaks if I waited till time to go at creighton and found that they were 45 miles away yet lol. and as you can see it paid off takeing the fowler a long so T/M's could see it and get his thinking cap engaged. Not only will it be a riot to dove hunt with that 44" barrel "laughing" but If I can get T/M's to pruff the gun to or past 45 gr. of black powder I think a forkhorn buck could supply a gun rack for the old girl during a muzzel loading seasion. May not be this one though as I'm not as demanding as DD.

DD the end of the tube mesures .490 and this allso is not a muzzel loading magnum, you would not find it fun, but I will. Guess I need to fnd out the shot weight of a .410 & 28 ga. and split the diferance if there is any so I can figure out the powder charge for this gun.

Just wondering as it needs to be .450 or bigger to be a LEGAL caliber for deer. My half stock I used last year and my full stock flintlock aren't mag's either...........

Now you know it's legal and you can't arrest me even if it does look like a .410 on that long skinny barrel. my guess is it would work well up to 50 yds. 100yds wood be getting pretty iffy perhaps and their is no rear sight. but like the old greman rifle I used last year geting a deer with it would make me feel pretty good & satisfide as to useing a inline lol. God it takes a lot of BS to try and keep up somewhat with you guys at the end of the month....smiles.
