Sat down yesterday afternoon and watched Patriot again.
The Rifle carried by Heath Ledger was built by an Iowan, Mike Brooks. And the rifle carried by Mel Gibson was built by Allen Martin.
a week from Wed I get to meet Mike & Ken"Packdog" Guy (an up and coming builder of Southern Mountain rifles) from Tennesee
At Bookies shop. Both Mike and Packdog are regulars on the American Longrifles site.

Anytime you can meet people like that it's fun. Actually 2M's has been in a movie or two and taught Kevin Cosnter how to throw a tomahawk. Sorry 2M's couldn't resist tellin' them.
