Damn, Twomoons! 5 below makes for some cold sitting on stand! Breakfast in a nice warm camp sounds real good when the temp gets that low.

Damn, Twomoons! 5 below makes for some cold sitting on stand! Breakfast in a nice warm camp sounds real good when the temp gets that low. Actually I stayed out there in the weather from before 2M's and Bounce left camp, till after they came back to camp!!! It was easier then it's ever been in this kind of weather. I remember for years on end sitting there by some tree w/ layer after layer of clothes on AND hand warmers in each glove and foot warmers in each boot, being stubborn and trying to wait out a deer.............. One year even laying in my -20 below zero rated sleeping bag trying to keep warm. This year WAS A PIECE OF CAKE!!!! I broke down and put a propane heater in the blind. I was warm and toasty

...."I broke down and put a propane heater in the blind." ;D That's a good solution to that problem! Imagine sitting in a tree stand in that weather.... BRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Well two more days left of the Nebraska MLing season. It's been a fun and exciting season. Number 1 son is coming back Monday to see if we can find one more nice buck. But to also try to call some Bobcats to shoot at w/ a muzzle loader.
