That's right, Big Daddy is still out there running around. He would make a dandy trophy with a muzzleloader... Good luck you guys. Hope one of you gets a crack at him.... ;D

Well today between work and THE WEATHER I didn't get much done. I'm still trying to decide if I need some .437 balls as the .440 w/ .15 patch seems awful tight in the new barrel. I did see alot of lil' mama's and a coyote but no "big Daddy". Maybe in the AM.

Just find a thiner patching. Think I got something that will work for it. That is if I can get it to you in time and if you need it? Have you sighted it in yet? or are you just trusting T/M's? LOL.

Cough, Cough, snicker, sly laugh........ Inlines don't care much about the weather.... Neither do my traditionals. But my beat up OLD boby does!!! I can't get around on the ice like I used too. And in the hill country EVERYTHING is up or down. Thats a bitch!!! Yesterday I did see a buck w/ about a 18" spread. 4 on one side and just a mainbeam on the other. He came off land I can't hunt and crossed the road w/in 10 yards of my vehicle... As I was going down the road!!!

Well as the ice melts and I'm healing up I'm starting to get around more. 2M's and I got camp set up on the Rez. I did see a small Mulie buck yesterday. I think he will look better in a couple of years. Today we have another storm coming in I'm thinking of hitting the high country till the front comes in than maybe the combine blind.

Here we go again. Got up @ 0500 our time went out to throw wood in the wood furance and solid ice w/ more icy rain AGAIN!!!! I don't know how much hunting I'll get done today in the hills. Most certainly won't drive in them. And don't know if I'll still hunt in this $hit or not. I did notice the deer wheren't moving yesterday ahead of this dfront like I thought they would. Maybe the combine blind today.

Another idea for the Christmas list. Although you could use 'em sooner, from the sounds of it. Some of those strap-on ice cleats for your boots.... Might keep you on your feet instead of fallin' on your a$$... ;D ;D

Camped agan this weekend and bow was it cold last night. It was 5 below when I got up for the last time at 06:00. Had to stoke the stove 4 times during the night and the worst was that as long as I stayed in the bunk I was WARM, but I knew if I didn't keep the camp warm we would be having frozen eggs for breakfast. Bounce and I saw 40 deer or so this morning, but Bounce didn't get a shot, we started late and I think we had more mnd on breakfast than anything else.
