I still don't think it would be a bad deer gun for sitting in the woods.

Red, a friend of mine bought that one i posted the link to. he hasn't shot it yet, i'll let ya know how it is after next weekend. his wife was pissed he bought it and blames me for it all. heck he just happen to mention to me a couple of weeks ago he wanted something along those lines. when the guy dropped his price to 175.00 i figured what the heck it might be what he was lookig for. it turned out it was. his wife is livid because it looks to evil being all black and such. she'll get over it. and if she don't who cares, i don't have to sleep with her.

I like the sporter stock much better, but 175 is cheap --- so long as the first owner bought it unissued.

Maybe next year. I limit myself to one gun a year and I'm on #2 now, assuming this walker comes back ok.
You know, only we can go from talking about a Colt Walker to an SKS...

Here! I'll post a picture just to get us back on track. Like I said before Red, when you buy a gun it is certain to be an adventure.

I had to run my sideways scroll bar back and forth about 3 times for every post just to read them and figure out what was going on. I thought you had a pistol Red, Not a Cannon.

Well I can't say that things are going 100% smooth The gun arrived at Dixie on Tuesday morning and I thought I would have a new one again friday. It looks more like Tuesday now Dixie called me a minute ago to chat...he said nothing is wrong with the gun I returned. (so I guess some unlucky guy is going to be buying this...) He did mention he thought perhaps the cylinder stop may need to be tuned --- and I basically told him that the gun was brand new and I don't know how the hell to do that !!! So he said he will exchange the revolver but doesn't think he can find one any better.
