The walkers are fun to play w/. I've had two or three myself. And it has never taken must to sight them in. Plus Red you can load them fairly heavy!!!!

We used a Walker copy in our demonstrations for some time and I would always start the spiel.. The Colt Walker the most powerfull handgun in the worl from the 1840's to 1935 and the invention of the 357 magnum. Then I would shoot into a jug of water at close range with a doctored ball. I cast my own balls and made hollow point 120 gr. balls for the Walker and put 50 grains of FFFg in the gun. It would destroy a jug of water. One day I didn't fill the jus, Dean did. I shot and as usual got soaked, but ... Dean put red dye in the water to make it more impressive for the crowd. I was PINK from head to toe and it never came out of my costume. I had to throw the whole outfit away as I looked like a fairy princess instead of a mountain man.

I thought I could get a walker for about 250 dollars. The old man works for cabelas and the plan was for him to get it at cost, then I write a short report for him to submit. But his boss won't sign off on that because dad knows enough about muzzleloaders. And I'm not going to pay 400  |
