I really don't know anything about it other than what state it came from. I know the guy I traded it out of never shot it. And I know 2M's had to make some repairs before I could shoot it....But unlike Bounce who got a good shooter last year. (The .50 cal.) I got a rifle that thinks its a shotgun.

Thats two guns you have that are messed up Dep-Don. You have a shotgun that thinks its a pop gun as every grouse that got up it went bang on but the bird didn't come down and now you have a ML rifle that thinks its a shotgun. What are you buying anyway. Didn't get those from me.

On those old ML rifles its pretty much a crap shoot on wether it shoots or not. Lot of them come thru and few are anygood at all. The shotguns are even worse as the barrels on many of them are paper thin. A while back we had one that I could almost see thru the barrels at the muzzle. Total wallhanger.

Thats good news as when yours is done it is my thinking it will not be very long before mine will be finished. Sadly I sold every 32-40 I owned and miss that cal. more than any. Don't think this one will ever go down the road and it should be the best one allso haveing a new barrel? It just maybe like Stevens calls it "Ideal"
