Ever since Two Moons mentioned a Vincent Rifle, I have known that one day I had to have one. It's on my list to build! Take a look at this one. www.americanlongrifles.com/american-longrifles-BBS-frame.htmLink does not go direct, It's in the Sale or Trade Forum Birdseye Maple Vincent Someone saved me some drool by buying it at what I think was a fair price of $1500

I think I will take a pass on that one. With the drop in the stock I have an Idea that I would have a real hard time seeing over the back of the breech plug. Not real fond of birdeye maple either. If you want to see some really nice rifles drop down to the advertisers and look for Jim Chambers rifles. Those are some awsome guns with a bit more realistic demensions . Man I would have to be skinny as a bean pole with a neck to match to wear that Vincent rifle.

Well I think it's a fine lookin' shootin' iron, Jim. ... I'd be proud to put it in my collection. I'm a long necked SOB anyhow, so it looks like it would fit me fine. I have an old Chauncey Brockway that has about that much drop and fits me fine. I like the wood, although I sort of prefer tiger striped to birdseye, but the birdseye is still right purty... ;D

Lol, well, I kinda agree with Bill about the drop in that stock- mutsa been built for a real pencil necked feller. I sure like the wood, though.
