Went to a Rondivious yesterday and they had a Mountain man walk were you walk through the woods and at veryious spots are various targets to shoot at and your are scored a certain amount of points at each buy your shot. I decided that it had ben a long time sence this jeager had ben out for a mountan man walk as the last time it would have ben with a real mountain man...grins... I had only shot this gun 10 times before this match. Well the gun deffanatly know how to behave on a shoot like this, as when I came home last night I was the leader in the match!!!! Now I may still be knocked out today buy some other shooter but it will not be by Two Moon's or his brother, or KD Bennet, or Dan Halverson and many others. LOL LOL LOL, If I can't get a deer this year with this old gun it is not the guns falt...smiles By the way their are 18 camps their and all but Two moon's is haveing a great time. His brother is beating him with his gun... and money was invallved. LOL

Gee Bounce I don't suppose that Jager is for sale. That sounds like a neat rifle. I reread the early replies on this post and Stumpjumper's reply which included the 'track of the wolf' kit has me very interested.
OK just to show my ignorance what do they mean by 'swamped' barrel.

Congratulations, Bounce ! Beating a National ML champ is quite an accomplishment. Now you have to find some meat to shoot that rifle at.

Thanks Jack. Finding meat during nebraska muzzel loading seasion is not as easy a beating that guy in a match. 10 degrees, Ice & snow, and I can't walk a lot anyway. And the deer like to be out in the dark. But I am hopefull, I'm just going for any deer this time.

Bounce, I expect it's no comfort to you, but the same conditions prevail here in NY at this time of year. Our late ML season runs a week and started yesterday. I didn't even think about going out.
