I just want Stumpjumper to know I'm still expecting him in Dec. for the ML Hunt. Plans are being laid to make the hunt as enjoyable as possible. I haven't got a chance to get input from the local deer yet. DD

Kool. I'm lookin' forward to the trip. I've been workin' alot of hours, & haven't had any real shootin time at the range, but took time, so I could teach my buddy how to handle a front stuffer. He jumped at the opertuity of goin' with me this Dec. out there to Nebraska. We are a pair of rednecks from South Jersey, that knows little to nothing of your neck of the woods, but we both are exicted & really lookin' forward to the experiance that we will enjoy out your way. My buddy just pasted his rifle saftey course yesterday, 8/20- Sat. He's hunted for years, mostly archery, but muzzleloading is an all new experiance for him. He pasted with a 100% grade. I let him use one of my T/C Hawkens. Caplock. I haven't tryed him on any of my flinters yet. HOWEVER ;D, I did take my Remington M-700ml. down & shot it for the first time. . I mounted an ol' pair of veiw thru mounts on it & an ol' 3x tasco I had layin around. Well, I didn't bore sight it or nothing. I just took it down the range when I took Pat down to learn him to shoot. Well, at 75 yards, I put it in the center of a paper plate. I looked at it, smiled & told Pat to take a shot at my shot hole. Well, his shot hit 3/4''high at 2:00 from my shot. That was the first time I ever put a scope on & it came out shootin' like that, without boresiteing, or the old fashion way of - 3 shoots, make adjustments, take 3 more shoots & adjust again. So on & so on...... I have a map with directions from my front porch to your front porch. I'm glad it has pictures, we might not get lost now . I have been watchin' a set of twins at work now for a month. I first saw them in the 2nd week of July & could hardly stand yet, kinda wobbly at the feet. I've been there before ...Definetly newborns,,They are now about 18" to 20" high. Tiney little things. I just hope they make it. It gets hard on the late born deer, with winter in the near future. Coyote bait for sure.

He sure wern't from Missouri was he Red. The reason they call a tooth brush a tooth brush was because it was designed in Missouri. Any were else they would of called it a teeth brush

Stumpjumper, Had a awesome time at the Rondivious, Everything was perfict, weather, peaple, food, except for my shooting that was a discrace as I learnd my targets sights were never maid for a primitive walk faceing a seting sun. But had elk stake, rabbit, Buffalo and some I din't know what it was only it tasted good, and all the trimings, much more than one could get a sample of it all. But I found nothing that was not extreamly pleasing to my palate. Yes I hope to meet you when you come and "eat D*D" out of house & home, Perhapps I can help!!!...smiles

HEY DID THIS DEC. HUNT ALLREADY TAKE PLACE AND IF SO HOW DID IT GO?(sorry caps lock was on) Stumpy had some things come up... So we're shooting for Dec 2006 . That's why I'm keeping a weather log on for him to kinda give him an idea what Nebraska weather can do in Dec.
