Even though I haven't been on here much and have been so busy in other area's of my life I haven't given up on my guns. So far this year I have had a custom 700 Remington built in 6MM AI and purchase 3 new handguns. A S&W 625-8 PC in .45 ACP, A S&W Doug Koenig 1911 in .45 ACP, and for the wife who ended up not liking a Ruger LCR in .38 Special that I bought for her I purchased a S&W M&P 9 Julie Golob with the safty as she does not feel comfortable with a semi auto without one. Now if you want to know how busy this last year has been I have not shot the 6MM AI or the 1911 or the M&P9.

6mm AI should be lots of fun! What's the twist rate on the barrel?

It has a 1/12 twist for varmint bullets. Should shoot 80 grain bullets real well though and also go down to 65's Doubt it will shoot the 100's plus worth a darn though. It is a Rem 700 SS action with a SS fluted Hart heavy sporter barrel 26"s and put into a HS Police stock although I want to change it to a sporter stock and use it as a multi purpose rifle for both Antelope and PD's.

Bill, that should be great for varmint bullets under 100 grains. Although, you might just test some 100's - it might stabilize them at AI velocities.
