Red it pains me to have to say it but ........... in this case...................... you might actually .......................um ... be .............................. maybe ... sorta..... rrrrrriigght. man that hurt. i will say duns down in peavly have some decent prices on their used guns. but that's because they rape you when you trade one in. i also have seen fair prices on guns at Denny Dennis (used guns we're talking about) unless it is a upper end gun then it is either at top dollar price or the employees buy it. they had two featherwieght 28 ga ringnecks (sxs) come in two weeks ago on trade and they didn't even get to the shelf. the guy behind the counter bought both at 600.00 a piece. but i'm sure our buddy bill is giving that move a thumbs up!

I actually feel your pain Jim...
I didn't care for Dunns when it was in st. charles - it recently went under. There is a new outdoor store there now though (haven't gone in it) There was just too many arrogant duck hunters in dunns for my liking. lol It was a pretty good store when it opened but then it turned into a very overpriced place with stuff that I sure can't afford.
I compare going into a gunshop is like walking into a smalltown bar - you walk in knowing everyone's going to be eying you. And it's got it 4 or 5 patrons that are there EVERY night.

I've noticed most of the Wal*Marts in Canada no longer sell firearms, and have noticed this is also becoming true in the US. I most recently noticed this in Fort Lauderdale. Yet if you go to www.walmart.com on the net they have the largest selection of firearms imagianeble. I was quite surprised, a huge website selling firearms, but with little or no advertising. Maybe it's merely the methodology that's changing. Best wishes. Cal - Montreal

Well red it's offical, Cabellas will be going into St. Louis Mills Mall by fall of '06. they had been trying to get it into the sunset hills development but when the developer ran into financing problems they lost their chance. that store would have been 5 min from my house. but better to have it 15 min away than not at all.

I saw that too.
I would of liked to have seen it go up somewhere else as I have a personal grudge against the mills mall - I wouldn't call it a grudge. I just hope they get what's comming to them in a repeat of '93 !!!
