here is the description and a pic of the broken hammer. One nipple is broken and one hammer is missing a bit, but the locks and triggers work. Laminated steel barrels that are almost devoid of finish. Crack in stock near trigger guard

I picked up one in 20 guage also late last year for 65 dollars.
it is a wall hanger also.
I sold it to dad. they make great little trade bait guns.
Mine is not a muzzleloader since i stay away from those stinky smoke poles. I does need blackpowder loads to shoot it. Laminated steel barrels are not very strong.

Send it to two moons and he might just be able to turn it into a shooter.

Bill after seeing what he did with that cap and ball abortion for DD I'm thinking real hard of doing that but only if it really makes sence. I pikes this up for pure viewing pleasure only, but, if there was a realistic approach to having it in shooting condition I would have to look long and hard at the possibility. But there's only so much even a great smith can do with some firearms. Sometimes as Clint Eastwood use to say "A guy has got to know his limitations" well same thing with old guns too.

All it costs is a trip to Bloomfield Nebraska to see the "GREAT" One..... Or you could ship it, get an opinion, decide, and have it shipped back either as a shooter or a wallhanger, which ever you decide..... He just recondtioned a MLing shotgun on I picked up on Gunbrokers for a friend.

Take the Barrels off & ring them, if they do then send it to T/M's but if any dead spots then just hang it on a wall.

If your barrels ring like a bell I think you should send it to T/M's [really]

I got a private message from a guy on the forum that I bought this gun from asking me if I would like to sell this ML. He had wanted to buy it back when I bought it but I was too fast for the guy. He is offering me basically 175.00 or so in value for it. Was just curious from the experts if that is the realistic value of this gun or not. I don't think I'm going to sell it as I think it just looks too cool but I told the guy I would think it over.

He's not too far out I would go $200 or so on it but that hammer and nipple can be fixed and you may have a shooter there. I forge a new front for the hammers and then file them to shape and re harden them. The niple would have to be drilled out anf the holes re tapped and new nipples installed. Say $70 or so IF the bore clean up and are sound.
