Bounce... I looked up some of them on Ebay last night.... a 1970 Challenger goes from a low of $33000 to (The highest) $99000. That's more then I paid for THE NEW ONE (less incentives)!

I know where there are restored old Mopars that are drawing a lot more than that. Ray Skillman Classic Cars. My next door neighbor is the manager of the restoration shop there and I go once in a while just to drool. www.rayskillmanclassiccars.com/Many of those don't even list prices... but last I saw that AAR 1970 Cuda on there was asking $190,000. The 1970 426 HEMI Challenger that's signed by Dan Garlits was $250K I think. There are some NICE rides in there. The neighbor drives them home once in a while too. Never know what's gonna be in his driveway in the summer. Jabba

Jabba, you're right about the gas mileage. It didn't measure up to the manufacturer's gas mileage posted on the sticker. I filled it up yesterday and checked the mileage. I got 16.88 mpg. However, going 100 mph in less a little over 1/4 mile does tend to suck up the petro. So I don't think it's a good test for MPG. I'm going to take it easy on her on this tank full and check it again. The MPG should go up a little.
That neighbor of yours does have some real nice cars on his web site. When I hit the Powerball Lottery, I think I'm going to pay him a visit... LOL ...

well, they are not HIS cars... he works for the guy who OWNS them. But he does work on them, and gets to drive one of them ocassionally.
