Klsm, you were a LOT more limber then- and motivated! Actually, a lot of what I remember is a trunk just large enough for a small bag.

Yes Jabba the Chevy 302 was a lot of engine. The Ford Boss 302 with autolite in-line 4 bbl and tunnel port heads was an awesome engine. That one was a limited production motor, they only put out on the street enough to qualify the engine for Trans- Am racing. I had a friend who dragraced a 60 Ford Falcon Ranchero with one of those in it. Bill what year was your Ranchero ?

The Ranchero was a 66". If you go down by the cemetery the old place at the bottom of the hill with the farm equipment around it you will see it sitting there. East side of the road. Heck you never know, old John might just sell it. I remember the time that two moons and I were out cutting firewood and he was going to cut down a tree. I said hold it, I will move the truck. He said naaaaaa I will miss it a mile. Dropped the dammed tree right on it. Didn't hurt much except for a few dents and scratches but sure gave me a good story. ;D ;D ;D He gets red every time I tell it. ;D

Bill, good thing that was a '66. any car now days would be totaled if you just lean on them the wrong way.
