Especially the one where they are accellerating up the big teeter-totter?
Man... that gives me the willies just looking at it!! I am afraid of heights anyway... plus I am afraid of big bridges... then that one moves...
YUCK!!

Yeah That one is pretty Cool! The one that makes me a bit squemish is the one where they brake it down to a stop on the edge of a Cliff.
I don't think I need a full size truck, but when the S10 gives up I am going to look hard at a Toyota. Chevy Ford & Dodge are not showing me much these days.

I agree Jim. The big three don't have much to offer in a small truck any more. I LOVE my S-10, but I have heard a lot of not so good stuff about the Colorado. And we KNOW that the Ford's suck. Jabba

Jabba Yeah Jabba, I have two friends that had Dakota's One had all kinds of fuel problems and traded for a 3/4 ton Diesel. The other had a lot of trouble including front end problems. He went on a business trip, and when he got home his wife had traded it for a new Toyota and he could not be more pleased. Another Friend bought a new 4X4 Ranger 6 months ago which he only drives on the highway(I mean Steve is a real light duty driver)? And it has transmition problems.

i have a 04 colorado z71 that so far has been a great truck,it has the inline 5cyl . gets 19-20 mpg around town and 23 1/2 -24 on highway. i tow my boat and atv trailer with it. i'm geting 17 1/2 towing either. i have 54,000 miles on it .
all of the tv ads are a big joke ,they all show truck doing thing the really can't do. from what i've seen the tundra's mileage sucks. it used to be the toyota got better mileage then anything ,but had no power ,now they've put bigger engines in them for power and they get poor mileage like everyone else.
do your country a favor and buy a truck built by an american based company.

I'll even lift my ban against the Dodge Ram now...even though I still don't like their owners...but that's personal

I wouldn't trade my Ranger for any rice burner ever made or any more GM products for that matter. I will have to concede that Toyotas and GMs do have one thing in common though - they're both rust buckets.

I am a GM guy too.
My older brother has a 95 Ford F250 with the turbo diesel. He's got 250K on it now and it's going strong drive line wise. It's had brake, and suspension issues, but not drive line.

I'm still driving my 95 F150 Super cab with the 302. Tried to trade it off 4 years ago and the dealer told me the transmission was going out so he couldn't give me much money for it. I told him to park it at the curb as I would be taking it home with me and bought the Expedition outright. Haven't touched the 95 as of yet and it has 158K on it and takes me to work every day. ;D Expedition has 120K on it and outside of the rear end Axel bearings going bad and having to be replaced its running just fine.

I've run a number of my Fords well into 300,000 miles plus. I used to take my 1978 F150 to Colo. elk hunting every year over 1500 miles one way though the mountains across the divide. And it had over 200,000 miles at the time. I havew NO complaints about Ford products

most of the toyota craze is just good advertising, and its costing the whole country bigtime.

srwshooter:
Your sentiments echo mine. It's true that most of them are actually assembled over here now using American labor, but the real money, the big money goes back to Japan. I've always heard that the Japs throw every obstacle they can in the way of our selling our American vehicles over there. Something to think about.
